At Coghlans, we pride ourselves on the individuality of the parties that we cater for. When you are looking to host a special party, wedding, 21st party or corporate event our attention to detail and quality of service are what makes Coghlans such a unique business.


Your individual event requires individual attention. In the first instance you will meet with one of Coghlans experienced hospitality advisors, Janet and Andrew Coghlan. Their personal attention to detail creates that special flowing event where organisers can relax and enjoy their special day and guests needs are met without fuss.


Coghlans prides itself in offering excellence in service. Staff are fully trained and uniformed and chosen from a full and part time employed pool, not from agencies. Whether you require a tray food party, a simple bar facility, traditional banquet or corporate launch day our experienced team will cater for your every need.


Our head chefs are part of the exclusive Master Chefs of Great Britain with considerable expertise in offering the finest levels of food regardless of numbers. Covering the Sheffield, South Yorkshire, Chesterfield and Derbyshire areas we can cater any event in any location including hotels, private residences, stately homes, community centres and marquees. We have even provided full-service catering in the middle of a football pitch when Chesterfield FC said goodbye to their old ground with a farewell black-tie gala dinner.


Your host will be one of Coghlans Hospitality managers with combined experience of over 90 years in the premium sector of the hospitality industry. We are happy to provide ideas from a selection of bespoke events that we have hosted, however, your party should be unique and as such we prefer to discuss directly with you what you would like and then offer that service. Testimonials and previous party menus are available on request.

Our chefs can create any style of food for your catering event - from finger buffets to silver service banquets. Regardless of the style of food we only use the freshest, local ingredients and put the same flair and passion into every dish we prepare.

We recognise the importance of your event and each is unique and special. Your event coordinator and head chef work with you to create a menu designed around you and your guests. No packages, no fixed deals - just the food what you want preparing and cooked how you want it.
