The Food Experience Centre is managed by Chefs Meg and Will,  who joined our  team, creating interesting and fun cooking lessons. The Cookery School has been running for the last 20 years with great success.

Boost Morale

With a firm emphasis on fun in a learning environment, these practical and informative days help boost staff morale whilst encouraging teamwork and communication. Days can be competitive or non-competitive to suit your business.

Cook and eat

Cook and Eat is a fun way of building a team. Chef will split the candidates into teams to be ‘creative’ in our ‘state of the art’ Miele Cookery School. Assisted by our Chef Tutor, each team can create their own version of the lunch or evening menu using a range of provided ingredients.

Judging takes place after all the courses are completed and served and an option of awarding prizes to the winning team can be arranged. At arrival we will offer your team Coffee, Tea and Water together with Pastry/Biscuits. This is followed by Chef’s briefing prior to commencing work in the kitchen.

There are a lot of different subjects available and it can include making fresh Pasta which involves all of the team in rolling out fresh pasta to use as a Ravioli, Tagliatelle or Cannelloni and extra smooth finish on the fresh Pasta dough is required as it comes through the Pasta Rollers. This would also include making fresh Tomato Sauce, Italian Meat Balls (on alternative version for Vegetarians) and a dessert. Each Team will serve the prepared food to the group in our dining room. Wine can be purchased to go with the meal but no alcoholic drink is permitted whilst working in the kitchen.
