Burns Night

Burns Night the 25th of January Burns night is a Scottish celebration that occurs every year on the 25th of January to celebrate the birth of the poet Robert Burns. The celebrations include fantastic feasts of food, Scottish whisky and lots of traditional dancing.  It can often be referred to as the Burns Supper. Many people wear traditional clothing such as kilts and also tartan check. Burns night often calls for bagpipes; however some people just prefer the traditional music. Guests often stand waiting while the music plays on arrival. There is also certain food that is expected at a Burns Night Supper.
