Father’s Day Suggestions -
We all know it’s a bit of a toughie to know what to get your dad on Father’s day. After a year or two you find that you’ve exhausted all the gift possibilities: socks, best-dad-in-the-world-mug, slippers, aftershave. Luckily, here at Coghlans, we’re here to offer a new suggestion: why not try a Coghlans cookery course?
Be not fooled, Coghlans courses remain fun and light-hearted, while at the same time educational. Get your old fella trying his hand at a Braised Lamb Shank in Herb Jus on our ‘Gastro’ course, or Lemon Grass and Coriander spiced Salmon Fillets from our ‘Thai’ cooking class. He can even have a bash at making some Macarons if he wants to.
All our courses are run by our in-house chef Simon Lilley, one of only 120 Master Chefs in Great Britain. We use only the best local produce and the finest equipment in the most up-to-date kitchen in the country - kitted out by Miele- so you create the best food you possibly can.
Alternatively, if your old man prefers a less hands-on approach to cuisine, may we suggest a 3-4 course dinner at our pop-up restaurant? Cooked by Simon Lilley, the Pop-Up restaurant offers the option of either a wine dinner or lunch menu; both complete with table service. Perfect for a Dad that wants to relax and enjoy some good food this Father’s day.
Either way, Coghlans has the answer for you. You never know, you might just get a new resident chef in the family!
