For the romantic amongst us book a table of 2 in our intimate dining area. We greet you with a glass of bubbly and canapés while you choose wine from our endless wine list ( you pay the retail price not the restaurant price per bottle) . Then take your seats as our master Chefs of Great Britain prepare you an unforgettable meal . Those of you who have attended events before you will know the high level of service we will provide you with. For the less romantic of you we can take group bookings . We can also cater for any dietary requirements.

Last year's classic French dinner proved to be a big hit , so by popular demand its back. With some many new world wine options we often forget where the bench marks were first set. We take you back over the classic regions of Bordeaux , Rhone Valley & Beaujolais to name but a few. The same goes for cuisine with popular dishes from all over the world gracing British menu's we often forget the inspiration behind some of the world dishes we know & love.

With guest speaker Jonny Bingham from JNV Vintners. We take you on a specialist tour of Argentina, Chile and the USA. We look at some very specific micro terrior areas of Chile with the Casa silver producers along with some top Malbec from Argentina. Jonny is always a great speaker and his knowledge is second to none.

Barrels & Bottles are proud to host an evening exclusively devoted to Italian wines. These wine will not be just regular Italian wine but we are going premium and rare . Enjoy wines from the exclusive village of Bolgheri along with the rare Sicilian Catuj shiraz. We will also look at some more the more famous premium Italian wine like Barolo, Amarone and Gavi. This really is a treat for Italian wine fans or anyone looking to broaden their knowledge .

Master Chefs of great Britain Simon Lilley & Bryan Thompson take you through a 3 courses celebration of not just British but English seasonal produce. What better way to celebrate all that is England. At Barrels & Bottles we have the added bonus of matching each dish with some classic wines , we may even try some of the English wines on offer. Special dietary requirement can be catered for.

Our Christmas wine tasting is always very popular and great value for money for those wishing to celebrate the festive period. Enjoy a two course hot buffet prepared by our award winning Chefs.
