The superb private dining room is furnished to the highest standards, offering a flexible, high-quality-venue suitable for any special occasion - from family gatherings and celebration to corporate events.

Diners are invited to simply sit back, relax and enjoy Coghlans delicious food and exemplary service as provided by the experienced and professional front of house team.

The superb food selection - chosen from our extensive private dining menus - can be tailored to meet the specific personal tastes of diners. In-house wine experts will assist in the choice of wines to compliment and enhance the selected food. The wine choice is extensive and available direct at retail prices from our sister company Barrels & Bottles

Coghlans Private Dining is available for up to 20 guests, with a minimum party of six. Bookings are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

A wine tasting event in conjunction with our sister company Barrels & Bottles makes for a great social event for friends, colleagues, staff and clients. Group sizes from 16 to 50 can be catered for in-house. Please see beneath for details of events at your own and alternate venues.

Wine tasting events can be along any theme and geared towards the level of kowledge for the group. Food can be arranged from bread and cheese right through to a full dinner service. A popular theme is our New World v Old World tasting and fun quiz with prizes for the winnng team.

You get to try the wines with proper tasting measures and learn about the wine, its makers, the styles and what the recognised tastes and bouquets are. Informing you about the wine without lecturing at the same time.

Unlike some wine tasting groups, we do not operate a pressure selling campaign throughout the evening. We do offer substantial discounts and offers on the day and we let the wine sell itself. If you do not want to buy anything at the end of the night you are under no obligations whatsoever. We pride ourselves on having fun, snob free wine tasting events..

Tasting / Conference Room

A larger room able to accomodate up to 50 people. Suitable for groups, sales meetings, functions, lectures and any event where you need to gather a group of people.

You can hire just the room or combine with a breakfast (for those early pre-work events), tea and pasrties or even a full lunch or dinner. Flexible table arrangements and the facility to bring in flip-charts, projectors etc makes our tasting room suitable for most events. Located on the ground-floor for easy access.

Private Dining Room

A smaller room for up to 18 guests featuring a single table. This room is beautifully finished and is perfect for private meetings and dinners. Whether a regional sales meeting or a branch of the local knitting guild - hiring The Private Dining Room brings a touch of opulence to any meeting and sets the standards for our chefs to serve their culinary delights.

Our meeting rooms can be hired for any event whether it is for an early breakfast meeting or a dinner for up to 50.

You may just require a meeting room for 2 to 3 hours or for a short presentation.

Our professionally fitted kitchens are available for private hire, perfect for:

Standard rates from £100.00 per hour includes Master Chef and equipment hire (materials at cost)

Forget the confines of a restaurant - wine and dine in style with our fully restored vintage AEC open-topped Red London bus with champagne lounge. We have lovingly restored this iconic symbol of London to be used as a Champagne and party bus. Standard hire includes:
