Coghlans is the perfect venue for events involving the press, filming or team training events. The fully air conditioned cookery school has hosted many sports groups, professional football teams and team groups for bonding days of Pasta making, cook and eat programmes and healthy eating.

Over 200 car spaces makes access to the ground floor cookery school easy and even with a large group there is further space for filming and interviews. A separate room for up to 60 guests is adjacent and can be used for service of Luncheon or dinner, an interview space or syndicate area.

Recently Coghlans have hosted a healthy eating day for the first team squad from Chesterfield Town FC, with camera teams from Sky Sports, BBC Look North and Yorkshire TV, plus press members from the Times and local newspapers, plus 16 first team players, the management team and a team of 4 chefs headed by Janet Coghlan and Simon Lilley.

The benefits of such a day are far reaching with recipes and tuition that individuals can take away, for life enhancing skills, as well as the additional team bonding from spending time out of the normal environment with team mates.

Filming of demonstrations and recipes can be achieved either via the in house Camera and DVD recording system, or with independent equipment. The venue will be used in 2009 to host a variety of famous Chefs and celebrity chefs, including the 2009 BBC Children in need SportingChefs dinner in October headlined by Darren Gough and Micheal Vaughan.
