Over the past years our chocolate courses have become one of our most popular choice of cookery courses. If you are a chocoholic or a keen cake decorator that wants to expand your range and knowledge, or maybe you want to start making your own range of chocolates for friends you will just love a chocolate day at Coghlans.

Chocolate course Level 1 :
After attending this day you will feel confident to start working with chocolate. We will teach you how to temper chocolate, study the different types of chocolate available, make chocolate decorations and run-outs. You will leave the course with a decorated chocolate cake and a selection of your very own chocolate truffles.

Chocolate course Level 2 :
You must have attended level 1 to sign up to this class. You will start with a refresher on tempering chocolate, however the time spent on this course is given to handling chocolate and the technique of using transfers, making figures and fresh chocolates with more detail than the level 1 course.
